Social Skills, Etiquette, Table Manners & Ballroom Dance in Texas
For over 60 years, The Chaplin Cotillions has been a trusted Texas institution, helping parents prepare children for success through proven instruction in social skills, etiquette, table manners, and ballroom dance.
Today's schools no longer teach the interpersonal skills that were once part of the standard curriculum. That's why cotillion is more important than ever. Our program gives students a structured place to learn essential life skills — from making introductions and polite conversation to dining etiquette and professional behavior — skills that build confidence in both social and professional settings.
The Chaplin curriculum progresses by class level, so each student learns age-appropriate material. Younger students build foundational social skills, while older students advance into dinner etiquette, interview readiness, event behavior, and leadership-oriented social confidence. Dance instruction is combined with etiquette lessons to keep learning fun, engaging, and memorable.
Students learn ballroom dances including the Fox Trot, Waltz, Swing, Country & Western, and Cha-Cha. These dances build coordination, rhythm, and poise — preparing your child for any social event, whether it's a prom, wedding, bar/bat mitzvah, debutante ball, or community celebration.
Beyond the classroom, the skills learned in cotillion last a lifetime. Our graduates leave with the confidence to introduce themselves in any setting, the poise to handle formal dinners and special events, and the social awareness to treat others with respect and courtesy. These are the qualities that help young people stand out on college applications, job interviews, and in everyday life. Give your child the gift of confidence — register for The Chaplin Cotillions today.
